The vinyl version of my group Reaper On Red’s second album Doom Daze is now shipping via Bandcamp. The limited-edition run of 200 numbered copies is pressed on 180-gram black vinyl and dressed in a full-color jacket and a black-and-white sleeve.

We had the pleasure of working once again with Candyland Studio’s Mike Montgomery (Breeders, R. Ring, Nervous Verbs), who mixed and mastered our songs after we recorded them at home. Jeff Johns designed the artwork and Nikita Gross captured our band photos. 

Carla and I conceived and produced the album as a song sequence that builds a story from one track to the next. If you have time and inclination, I hope you find a favorite beverage and enjoy the full ride to its spine-tingling conclusion. Like to watch? Thus far we’ve released two videos for the album—a performance-based clip for the title track “Doom Daze” directed by Patrick Miller and a motion-graphic clip for “Victory Over The Sun” directed by Michael Sweeney. The latter video provides a portrait of the nocturnal creatures populating the album’s world out of natural balance.
